Optimization results explained

How to read allocation lines after you optimize—percent of account, entry, stop, target, risk/reward, and diagnostics in plain language.

What you are looking at

After you run Optimize portfolio (or finish the TRINITY Optimized Portfolios flow), IRIS shows a proposal: proposed positions sized under the risk settings you entered. Nothing is sold or bought until you confirm through your normal trade workflow.

Line-by-line fields

FieldHow to use it
SymbolThe ticker that passed DIONYSUS filters and ranking for this run.
SharesWhole-share count after rounding—tiny weights can round to zero and disappear.
EntryModeled buy price—often near the last analysis price; not a filled execution price.
% of AccountConcentration check; large single names may clash with your own diversification rules even if within TRINITY caps.
Stop lossRisk-management anchor from technical context—not a live broker order until you place one.
TargetPlanning anchor from analysis—not a guarantee.
Risk / rewardDistance to stop vs target expressed as a ratio—higher is more “efficient” on paper; reality includes gaps and slippage.
Stage / signalEcho of ATHENA inputs at run time; if analysis changed since yesterday, a re-run can shift weights.
Optimizer diagnosticsShort notes when sector caps, turnover limits, or vol targets tightened the book—read these before accepting. See Constraint packs and optimizer diagnostics.

After you click accept

You should still verify cash, margin, tax lots, and liquidity outside TRINITY. Optimization respects numeric knobs you typed—not your personal tax situation.
